Company promotes executive to lead its digital media processes and procedures throughout its U.S.-based facilities.
LOS ANGELES – May 2, 2012 – Encompass Digital Media, Inc., a leading digital media services provider, today announces the promotion of Peter Riordan to Senior Vice President, Media Workflows and Operations for North America. In this role, Riordan will be responsible for media workflow systems, process development and implementation across the U.S. coordinating Encompass clients’ media requirements for incoming file delivery, encoding/transcoding formats, asset management, quality control and archiving services.
Riordan will work in partnership with the Encompass Digital Media Center, which is led by Vincent Lyons, to ensure efficient movement, utilization and storage of its clients’ digital media throughout the company’s worldwide facilities. Reporting to Bart Spriester, Encompass’ Chief Technology Officer, and under the direction of Bill Tillson, President and COO, Riordan will enhance and refine existing workflows and procedures. In addition, he will implement and execute cross-departmental operations with Encompass’ engineering, operations and digital media service groups ensuring effective use of company-wide resources.
