Encompass New York features two locations, 545 Fifth Avenue and 60 Hudson Street, and offers the largest video switching center in the northeastern U.S. Both facilities specialize in the contribution and distribution of broadcast video and can accommodate uncompressed HD routing. Encompass New York has direct fiber access to major broadcasters, cable providers and corporations as well as its Global Interconnect fiber network that links all other Encompass sites (Los Angeles, Atlanta, Stamford, Burbank, London and Singapore). Both facilities are UPS-protected with backup generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
Encompass Stamford
Encompass Stamford is approximately 155,000 sq. ft. and is conveniently located along the Long Island Sound approximately 40 minutes from New York City. The facility houses a state-of-the-art Teleport, Master Control, two fully outfitted HD/SD studios, a head shot studio and production office space. Encompass Stamford supports file-based workflows from editing through to playout controlled from an asset management system. Power to equipment is fully protected with brand new generators, UPS systems and switch gear. ASI, HD-SDI, SDI and IP interconnects are all supported with diverse fiber routing.
