Apprentice II

The Apprentice II is an entry-level, temporary position responsible for learning and performing tasks associated with all technical broadcast activity for their assigned network or area during their shift. Apprentices are required to perform various responsibilities inherent to their assigned network/area for the purpose of developing the required skill sets to work in the media services industry. Apprenticeships will continue for a maximum of 24 months. A standard workweek will be 32 hours, with a maximum 40-hour week.

TES Engineer

The TES Engineer drives a satellite uplink truck (transportable earth station) to the client’s requested location. Once there, as the Engineer in Charge, the TES Engineer operates and maintains the transportable earth station per the client’s needs. Must know the technical aspects of broadcast quality audio and video and be experienced with logistics, coordination, and technical aspects of KU and C band satellite traffic.

National Account Manager, Digital Media Services

The primary responsibility of the National Account Manager is to cultivate and develop new clients with a focus on selling Video on Demand (VOD), Over The Top (OTT) and other IP-based content services.  Target markets for sales opportunities may be local, regional, or national, as directed. RF Engineer Apprentice

The RF Engineer Apprentice is an entry-level, temporary training position responsible for providing help in designing and building of RF systems under the supervision of the Chief RF Engineer and the Senior Engineer. Provides help with the installation, testing, and repair of RF systems and equipment. Equipment encountered in this position includes, but is not limited to encoders, modulators, frequency conversion equipment, RF amplification equipment, antenna subsystems, and other ancillary satellite communication equipment. Apprenticeships will continue for a maximum of 24 months.

Senior Sales Solutions Engineer

The Encompass Government Team is on a fast growth track. The Senior Sales Engineer must possess technical expertise at an engineer level and at the same time be comfortable recommending and discussing solutions with a prospective customer during a sales presentation. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales Operations and Proposals.
